Ghana Update – August 2022

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you” (1 Peter 1:3-4)

Ghana Summit 2022

Samson was the Lead facilitator for the Wholistic Development and Transformation Conference for church pastors and leaders in the Upper East region of Ghana. Over 30 participants took part in the conference and at the end of the four days of fellowship and interaction; it was obvious from the feedback received that lives were greatly impacted.

Outreach

A two day outreach program was carried out at the Kparigilanyili community sharing the good news of Christ with the members of the community.  Eye screening was also carried out in the community to help people who had issues with their eyes. Those whose conditions need surgery were booked for surgery later.

Goats Project

More and more orphans continue to receive goats due to the support of Unite 4 Africa and their partners. It is always a moment of reflection, especially when interacting with the grandparents of these beneficiaries as they express their joy and appreciation for this support.

Weekly Radio Broadcast

The weekly radio program dubbed “Seed of Hope Broadcast” continues to impact lives for the kingdom of God. It was a great joy visiting the community of one the people who has followed regularly and who calls into the program every week. When he heard my voice in his community he said, “I don’t know you but I have recognized this voice in a radio program that I have been following called “Seed of Hope.” Thank you, Pastor you do not know the extent, to which the program has helped us especially, those of us very far from the city”, he added.

Prayer Needs

• Appreciate God for His faithfulness in the opening of opportunites to present the Gospel to unreached communities.
• Continue to pray for the Seed of Hope weekly Radio Broadcast to reach out to our listeners to continue to have an encounter the Holy Spirit.
• Continue to pray for the Church planting training centers that are led by Samson.
• Pray for the Global Leadership Summit that Samson will be attending with other leaders.
