Ethiopia Update – July 2024

Great Harvest of the Lord

Just few weeks ago; God has given us a great harvest again and we were able to baptize another 800 people in Lake Kuriftu in the town of Bishoftu, Ethiopia. What a great joy to see those precious souls receiving the Gospel of the Kingdom, repent and accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and getting in to the lake and got baptized. Those people have walked from 15 – 20KM to reach their designated spot and we have transported them by buses to get them to the Lake in Bisfhotu from those spots.

Our leaders are highly devoted to teach and lead them to the way of the Lord to be Jesus’s true disciples. This is the result of our Disciple – making movements in Jesus’s way that we are doing across the country.

Thank you so much for all your prayers and support to help the Gospel to be spread to the most unreached people groups in Ethiopia and Africa.

School Feeding program in our school Wonjishowa

The OVCN / Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene/ Mission team led by Dr. Okongo and Pastor David came to Africa and made a very successful Vision trip a few weeks ago. One of the places and projects that they visited was our school in Wonjishowa.

The team was amazed by what God has been doing in the midst of this poverty-stricken village. The team involved themselves in our school feeding program and it was a great blessing to see all of them to carry a plate of rice and serve those little children a meals for their lunch.

We have 380 children / Orphans & Vulnerable / that we feed breakfast & lunch every day in our school.

Praise and Prayer items

The followings are praise and prayer request items to pray about with us:

• Praise God for the salvation of 800 people.
• Praise God for the ministry of Unite 4 Africa; God has caused our ministry to grow year by year in many aspects of our ministry in different nations of the world.
• Pray for those who have got baptized that may God would cause them to grow in their faith and become salt and light to their respective communities.
• Pray for our school in Wonjishowa that we may be able to continue serve our children, to feed and empower more and impact the community more.
