Ethiopa Update – May 2013

We are still laboring in his mission field by His grace. We have seen God’s tremendous work and His faithfulness even in the past month. I just want to share with you few reports among many activities in our region.

I. Distribution of Bibles.

We have donated Bibles for more than 150 new believers and young people. Most of them had not get the chance to read Bibles before. And they rejoiced a lot when they received their own copy in their own language.

II. Animal support for orphans continues

We have handed over goats for the orphans who live in Donni village. Pastor Endale is one of our pastors who have been serving God in the place where predominantly Muslims resides. He started the KG school in the church compound. And it’s becoming a means to reach Muslim children with the Gospel.

III. Conducting Training in Gurage region.

I have conducted Bridges 1 & 2 training for local missionaries that have been working in Gurage region. This region is a Muslim region. They have come from 42 various villages to participate in the training. And we had a good time with them. Most of them said that we have got the tool to reach out our oral community.

IV. Conclusion

Finally I take this opportunity to thank all our partners for standing along side with us in all programs and projects in your prayers and finances. I give you this word from scripture that says; “your labor in the Lord will not be in vain.” I want to also let you know that I , my family and our church continue to pray for you and your families.
