“Your people will rebuilt the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will called Repair of the broken Walls, Restorer of streets with dwellings.” (Isaiah 58:12)
This is the word that the Lord puts in my heart to encourage you .We thank God for his high calling and He has called us to become Restorers and Repairers of the broken. I would like to thank all of you for engaging in to this high calling according to your gifts, talents and the resources you have.
In this article I am going to share with you some of the things that God has done though us to transform the lives of many according to His promises…
I. Consultation and encouragement time with ministers
We had a very good time with all ministers and leaders last month in Welenchity town. The objectives of this gathering were to share our experiences each other, to evaluate our current activities and to discuss on how can we do more to accelerate the church planting movement in our region. About 50 ministers gathered together including our men and women master trainers and we had a very good time of sharing the word of god and praying time. We prayed for all our partners and for the community that God would continue to bring holistic transformation in our region and nation at large.

II. Training & consultation with our training coordinators
We called all our training coordinators from our hubs and had a very good time of training and encouragement. There were 15 coordinators who have come from our various training hubs. I taught them on the topic of the objectives and the content of Christian education. And my colleague Pastor Tesfaye shared with them on the challenges of the teaching ministry and in addition to that he spoke on the techniques of delivery particularly for our oral communities. After that, we had a group discussion time and we discussed on our challenges and solutions of our teaching and discipleship ministry.

III. Our goats & sheep project bears fruits
I Visited our Boffa village church two weeks ago and I observed that our goats & sheep project is becoming very successful. On that very day one of our orphans, named by Gano Kumbi, got excited because her sheep gave birth. Originally we gave her a goat, but due to a health problem of the goat Gano’s care-taker consulted the local pastor and they agreed to sell the goat and they bought the sheep for her. So, I got the opportunity to see her excitement and took her picture.
This is just a sample and there are many orphans in various villages that have become beneficiaries from our project. We thank God for these blessings on the orphan children.

IV. Conclusion
Like I said in my introduction God has called us to become a restorer and repairer of the broken. The hope of this broken world is our Lord Jesus Christ alone. God was so love the world and he gave his only begotten son…. So, we are called to proclaim this Gospel and demonstrate this Love to the broken world in holistic approach. Let’s continue working hand in hand so that the grand transforming plan of God shall to come pass. Amen!
