SHARING THE GOSPEL ON TELEVISION

Samson was hosted on television to speak on the theme ‘Difference Between Light and Darkness – Characteristics of the Children of Light and the Children of Darkness.’

He shared with viewers that God is the source of light, Christ is the light of the world, Believers are expected to reflect light in the world and in eternity God’s presence will be the light of His people.

Many non-believing viewers who commented on the program said they don’t get tired listening to the truth spoken by Samson. The host of the program felt the time was not sufficient to exhaust the program and so will be calling Samson back to the studios to continue in another to exhaust the topic.

ALTAR OF WORSHIP

Over 500 Believers from different denominations and communities gathered together in one spirit with one purpose to worship the Lord fulfilling what the Lord prayed in John 17 expressing unity and oneness. Corporate prayer and worship were the focus to honour God as one people regardless of community and denomination.

ENGAGEMENT WITH WOMEN

Women from over 50 communities came together for the annual International Baptist Women’s Ministry conference with Samson as the main speaker for the conference.

It was very encouraging to see everyday women very zealous for the Lord and enthusiastically learning to have a genuine walk with the Lord and to be an example to their communities.

The main theme of the conference was ‘Be Renewed in Your Mind.’ It was great sharing with them on practical ways by which we can be renewed in our mind through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Some participants said this year’s conference is memorable because the lessons have been practical with illustrations that cannot be forgotten.

PRAYER NEEDS:

• Pray the upcoming Youth Ignite Conference
• Thank God for the gathering of the body of Christ in Lome and pray for them to continue to pursue a ‘Church in Every Village Everywhere’ in the country.
• Pray that for the Church in Ghana to be intentional in reaching out to the remaining Unreached People Groups with the Gospel.
