From a Tree to a Testimony: A School of Hope Rising
What began as a simple God-given vision under a tree has now become a living testimony of faith, obedience, and partnership. From the foundation stage, through walling, roofing, and plastering, every phase of construction has reflected commitment, excellence, and God’s grace. Today, we joyfully report that the project has reached the finishing stage.
This school is more than a structure it is hope planted in the heart of the community. Children will now go to school on time, learn in a safe and protected environment, and no longer face the daily dangers of crossing rivers or encountering wild animals in search of education.
The school now stands as one of the best in the region in terms of construction standards, reflecting dignity, order, and excellence. Even more, we are trusting God that it will also become a center of academic excellence, raising a generation of children equipped with knowledge, values, discipline, and purpose.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners, donors, leaders, volunteers, and friends who believed in Unite 4 Africa vision that; mobilizes, unites, equips individuals, communities and organizations to transform themselves spiritually, socially, physically, and economically bringing abundant life in Christ and walked with us through every stage.
You did not just build a school you planted hope, shaped destinies, and invested in generations.
Thank you for being part of this miracle.

Ololepo Hope Community School – Current progress update
Ololepo Hope Community School is steadily shaping the future of education in our community. At present, two classes are fully operational, providing a safe and engaging learning environment for the children. Each day, students participate actively in lessons, developing their literacy and numeracy skills while also enjoying creative activities such as drawing, singing, and storytelling. Life skills sessions equip them with essential knowledge about hygiene, safety, and social responsibility, while outdoor play promotes physical health, teamwork, and social interaction.
The children have embraced the structured learning environment with enthusiasm and curiosity, showing remarkable progress in both academics and personal growth. Teachers and staff continue to guide the students with dedication, ensuring that each child receives attention and encouragement to develop their full potential.
As the school approaches completion, preparations are underway to welcome over 2,000 students in the coming months. Plans include equipping classrooms with learning materials, expanding teaching staff, and ensuring that every student has access to a safe and nurturing environment. The anticipation is high, as the community looks forward to seeing more children gain access to quality education in a well-structured, secure school setting.
With the current classes already demonstrating the positive impact of this initiative, the full opening promises to transform the educational landscape of the region, providing thousands of children with opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive in a safeand supportive environment.

Restored, Renewed, and Repositioned: The Transformational Journey of Leakey and Jane
Leakey and Jane have walked a remarkable journey of transformation through the guidance and mentorship of our ministry president Dr Okongo. Recently, they shared with me, as the Ministry Mission Director, how profoundly this guidance has impacted every area of their lives. They described the experience as life-changing, especially in strengthening their marriage, guiding their family, and deepening their personal walk with God.
Through consistent prayer, counsel, and spiritual mentorship, they were empowered to navigate challenges in their relationship, restore trust, and build unity. The process also helped them align their personal and family decisions with God’s principles, resulting in a renewed sense of purpose, faith, and harmony. Leakey and Jane expressed deep gratitude for the patience, wisdom, and spiritual insight they received, noting that the mentorship not only changed their marriage but also gave them confidence to step into their God-given roles within the ministry and community.
The transformation they experienced has gone beyond the confines of their home. It has positively influenced their children and extended family, creating an atmosphere of stability, hope, and spiritual growth. Leakey and Jane’s story is a powerful testimony to the life-changing impact of obedience and submission to godly counsel. Their willingness to follow guidance faithfully demonstrates that when couples allow God’s principles to shape their lives, true restoration and empowerment are possible.
This testimony affirms our ministry’s vision of holistic discipleship, addressing not only spiritual growth but also personal, relational, and family development. Leakey and Jane’s journey is an inspiring example of what can happen when faith is combined with obedience, and it continues to encourage others in the community to seek God’s guidance and walk in His ways.

Church Construction at Emurkea – Nairrabala Community
All glory be to God for what He has done in the Nairrabala community at Emurkea. We celebrate the successful construction of a new church building—made possible through the generous support and partnership of Unite 4 Africa.
For over a year, the faithful believers of this community gathered for worship under a tree. Through scorching heat, strong winds, and heavy rains, they remained steadfast—humbly and patiently waiting upon the Lord. Their unwavering faith and commitment have now been rewarded with a permanent place of worship.
This new church building is more than just a structure of iron sheets and timber. It is a symbol of hope, faith, and transformation. It will serve not only as a house of worship but also as a place of learning and opportunity. Young children in the community who are unable to walk long distances to the nearest school will now have access to a safe space for basic education and learning.
This project stands as a testimony to what God can do through partnership, perseverance, and faith. The Nairrabala community is deeply grateful to Unite 4 Africa partners for bringing light, hope, and lasting impact to Emurkea.

Ongoing Drought Crisis and U4A’s Response – Mailitisa
Since the beginning of this year, our region has been facing a severe and prolonged drought due to a long absence of rainfall. The land has dried up, water sources have diminished, and the once-productive fields have turned barren. Many communities have been deeply affected by this crisis. Families are struggling to access food and clean water, and countless animals have died due to the lack of pasture and drinking water.
The suffering has been especially heavy on widows, vulnerable children, and the most disadvantaged families. With little or no harvest and no reliable source of income, many households have been pushed to the brink of despair.
Through the generous support of U4A partners, we were able to distribute essential food supplies to widows and the most affected families. This intervention brought relief and renewed hope to many who had lost almost everything. The smiles, gratitude, and prayers of the beneficiaries are a powerful reminder that compassion can shine even in the darkest seasons.
U4A has always been at the forefront of reaching unreached communities — not only meeting physical needs but also providing spiritual support and empowerment. In this difficult time, we continue to stand with the suffering, offering both practical assistance and words of hope.
As we press on with faith and determination, we pray that God will send rain to restore the land, ease the suffering of many, and bring new life to our communities once again.
