Kenya Updates – July 2025
The Gospel and Education: A 2-pronged Ministry Approach
We are excited to share with you a powerful story of transformation and hope. As part of our ongoing vision to reach the unreached and serve the underserved, we bring you this report from Oloshaiki community in Maasai land. Located far from established churches and schools, this community is one of the marginalized areas. But no community is too far for the love of Christ. The passion of U4A leaders to reach out with the Gospel was met with a deep spiritual hunger and a strong desire for education from this community and soon after, we planted a church and a school, both under a humble tree. This gathering place has become a sanctuary of hope, worship, and a learning venue for the entire community.
The church now holds regular worship and Bible study meetings. The school serves children who had never stepped into a classroom before. Families are experiencing spiritual renewal and unity. Discipleship and literacy are growing hand-in-hand by God’s grace.
We are very thankful and felt honored to receive a visit from a team of U4A partners. Together, we prayed, strategized, and celebrated what God is doing in Oloshaiki. Every church planted, every school started, and every child reached is a testimony of your love in action. We look forward to sharing more updates as this new work in Oloshaiki grows and flourishes.

U4A Kenya Team Building Event
The U4A Kenya team recently gathered at Crescent Hotel, Kitengela, for an impactful team-building meeting grounded in faith, unity, and renewed vision.
A compelling devotional message focused on personal preparedness, became a theme of discussion, reminding the team that divine transformation requires active human participation. Using the metaphor of a sharpened axe from Ecclesiastes 10:10, the team reflected on the wisdom of spiritual, mental, and practical preparation before engaging in transformative work. This theme of readiness extended naturally into the broader purpose of the meeting: to sharpen one another through shared insight and vision.
Diving deeper into the U4A vision, the team explored the core mission: to mobilize, unite, and equip for spiritual and socio-economic transformation. Each term was unpacked, sparking personal commitments to grow in specific areas of contribution. The team recognized U4A as both a catalyst for change and a bridge that breaks barriers across tribes, denominations, and communities all geared to delivering holistic transformation rooted in Christ’s love.
Together, the Kenya team stands ready, sharpened and aligned for the abundant life Christ offers to Africa and beyond.

A Message of Gratitude from Noosikitok Comprehensive School
We extend our deepest gratitude to Unite 4 Africa for their generous and compassionate support through the provision of dignity pads to our girls. This noble act goes far beyond charity, it is a powerful gesture of love, care, and empowerment. The impact of this support is already evident. Our girls can now attend school consistently and concentrate fully in class without the burden of anxiety or shame. Before this intervention, we witnessed a troubling number of truancy cases, especially among our female students. Upon closer investigation, we discovered that the primary cause of their absenteeism was the lack of access to sanitary products, a basic need for every girl.
With the arrival of dignity pads, this barrier has been lifted. We are confident that absenteeism will significantly decline, if not disappear entirely. Moreover, we have come to understand how deeply the lack of such essentials can affect a girl’s emotional well-being and sense of dignity. Today, we see brighter faces filled with renewed hope and the promise of a better future.
We sincerely pray that God continues to bless Unite 4 Africa as they remain a beacon of transformation and hope in our communities.

MOBILITY IMPROVES EFFICIENCY: A NEW MOTORBIKE FOR A PASTOR
Pastor Peter Mulingata, together with his wife Salina are pastors of two congregations which are 7 kilometers apart in the rural areas Mbitini, Kitui county. Apart from their church responsibilities, they have been very instrumental in community development efforts, especially the orphans and the disadvantaged. The region has very poor infrastructure and unreliable means of transport. It was a great joy and relief for Pastor Mulingata and his wife to receive a motorbike from Unite 4 Africa partners. The bike will not only ease their travel while ministering God’s word and serving the community, but it will also help them to fetch water with ease from the selling points for their household.
A few months ago, they felt led of God to sell their old motorbike and give the proceeds from this sale towards the construction of their church building. What a joy it was that the Lord has used Unite 4 Africa to give him a new motorbike to ensure that, he and his wife do not fail in their ministerial and family responsibilities.
