Ghana Update – March 2024

”This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:9-10)

INTRODUCTION

Our desire is to hallow the name of our father and look forward to see His kingdom come and His will being done in our lives and wherever we find ourselves.

DEVELOPING TOMORROW LEADERS

Leadership truly plays a critical role when it comes to the transformation of communities and nations. No wonder our world is crying for right leadership to help turn around things in the various nations of our world. Samson has been involved in the development of leaders at different levels. The focus on Church leadership has been so great and comments of some of the participants at one of such leadership conference were so humbling. One said “I wished I was exposed earlier to these Biblical truths on intentional leadership development. Our ministry would have been far better than what it is today.” Another participant said, “You, the facilitators, have not only helped us theoretically but practically. We have seen what you are sharing in our brief interactions with you these few days and I am determined to emulate that kind of lifestyle.”

SEED OF HOPE BROADCAST

More and more testimonies keep coming in relation to the weekly radio broadcast dubbed “Seed of Hope.” “I don’t get to call into the weekly broadcast but I must say that I am personally grateful to the sponsors of this program for it has greatly helped me in becoming a better Christian, which can be testified by those around me.” said a listener. Another listener said, “Pastor, please pass our gratitude to the sponsors of this program and let them know that their investment has not only helped individuals become better but even communities with the wholistic truths that are shared on the program. I am not a Christian but if I am still in my matrimonial home, it is because of the Seed of Hope Broadcast.” This is a testimony by a regular listener.

GOATS PROJECT

“As a matter of fact, we were concerned about how we will be able to raise this child without any form of support. There was a contemplation of just forgetting about education for him but this kind gesture has offered us hope that things can be better moving forward. Thanks to all who made it possible that we can have some goats for helping our orphan have a better future.” This is an accession by a guardian of a beneficiary of the goats’ project.

Prayer Needs

• Thank God for what He has continued to do in U4A globally and for Ghana specifically.
• Pray for travelling mercies for Samson as he moves to southern Ghana to participate in trainings and facilitate in this year’s Africa CHE internship.
• Continue to pray for God’s grace for the Seed of Hope Broadcast that many lives will continue to experience times of refreshing and revival through the program.
