Michael Butcher
Board Member

Michael Butcher and Roxanne have been married 15 years. They have two boys Garrett (11) and Gavin (6). Michael currently works at Raytheon where he has been employed since 2001 as a Technical Support Engineer/ Lab Manager. He also proudly served in the United States Navy for eight years prior to moving to Arizona.

Michael and Roxanne have been members of Pantano Christian Church for 7 years. Michael has been involved in various ministries and roles at PCC including lead usher, children’s ministry volunteer, summer camp counselor, youth coach, group leader for various bible studies and is currently the director of Men’s Ministries.

Michael accepted Christ at age 22 and was baptized several years later in February of 2000. In 2006, Michael attended Pathways, where his eyes were opened to different cultures and people groups of the world. This also changed his outlook on Christianity. Soon after, he went on a small term mission trip to Slovakia., where he discovered his true passion for missions. Michael is currently leader of the Unite 4 Africa shepherding team, and meets monthly with the Okongo’s to offer spiritual and emotional support.
